After working in NYC agencies large and small, in 2018 I joined Mozilla’s Firefox Test Pilot team as a hybrid UX designer and user researcher to test products, concepts, and experiments—all in service of Mozilla’s mission to “keep the internet open and accessible to all.” My subsequent work includes Firefox Accounts, product/partner experiments, the Firefox design system, Firefox Search / Suggest, and more. My agency experience includes Method and Razorfish. Highlights include designing the McDonald's food ordering kiosk and freelancing with SYP to conduct design research for Starbucks.
In 2022, I jumped from Mozilla to BNY Mellon’s brand new Pershing X team of to launch Wove, an easy, intuitive operating system created specifically for wealth management firms and their financial advisors and investors. Wove connects technology and data to deliver an interoperable, integrated platform experience.

Listening and asking questions is fundamental to the design process. I thrive in high-level, holistic thinking that connects the macro with the micro—that connects the dots between strategy, research, design, and tactical execution. I began as a UX designer, became a “hybrid” designer doing research, and moved to focus on qual user research. My experience includes service design and organization design, and close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and org leaders. I have worked across platforms and throughout the product lifecycle from early concept to release, collaborating cross-functionally and also working directly with clients and partners.
I prioritize enlisting others in a shared vision, creating clarity and alignment at every step, and shepherding my team as we identify and apply insights to build simple, resonant solutions that benefit people. My friends call me “artist,” my bosses call me “conceptual,” and my colleagues call me “organized,” as I drive the work forward with proactive planning and management. I strive for integrity of solid thinking, process, and character. I have always sought to mentor more junior people and to build community.
My antennae are tuned to joy, form, story. My interdisciplinary background in filmmaking, performance studies, and literature informs my thoughtful approach to UX. I studied at Stanford, where I learned design thinking, and at NYU, where earned my Film MFA. I have taught undergrad and grad students at Pratt Institute, Columbia University, the Fashion Institute of Technology, and the School of Visual Arts.
